With the fourth quarter earnings season now complete, we take a look at the fourth quarter earnings performances of the Dow stocks.

We are expecting solid second quarter results out of Chevron driven primarily by significantly higher oil prices in the quarter.

The rising price of oil along with better than expected quarterly results out of Occidental Petroleum and Noble Corp all point to a stronger than expected quarter for Exxon.

Wall Street has reduced their expectations for 2009 in the wake of lower oil prices, but we feel that they may still be too optimistic.
